Apostolic Leader Classis of Florida, Reformed Church in America
Persons who feel led are invited by the Classis of Florida, Reformed Church in America to inquire about a fulltime position to be the Apostolic Leader of the Classis. This is a new classis position as the sole full-time staff member for the Classis.
The classis is seeking an ordained minister or non-ordained person who is able to embrace Reformed Church in America polity and has apostolic characteristics, gifts, and skills. The classis is defining apostolic characteristics using these words: visionary, initiator, prophetic, respected, authority, sent, and Godly.
Persons interested must be in agreement with the Classis of Florida mission of leading leaders to develop disciple-making congregations. Potential candidates for the Apostolic Leader position will enthusiastically share with the classis the vision of preparing churches for the harvest, equipping leadership, connecting congregations, birthing new congregations, and resourcing churches.
The Apostolic Leader will proactively provide apostolic leadership to the classis congregations and ministers, will proactively lead multiplication and revitalization efforts, will help the classis to vision and prioritize, and will be a general resource to the classis.
